Casio can’t stop beefing up its already beefy G-Shock line. The watchmaker gave Maxim.com an exclusive first look at the latest addition to the MR-G lineup: The limited edition «Jyuryokumaru» or «Gravity» watch, which boasts the rugged line’s signature toughness in a truly stylish package.

The Japanese characters for “gravity» are engraved by hand on the brawny timepiece’s titanium back by famed Japanese swordsmith Teruhira Kamiyama. The MR-G’s back cover and clasp have also been subject to a deep-hardening treatment that makes it five times harder than average titanium—you couldn’t cut it with the toughest sword.

The scratch-resistant sapphire crystal has been coated inside as well, adding clarity and easy readability. Casio says in a release that the timepiece’s bezel is stronger than stainless steel, owing to premium materials Cobarion and Murasaki-gane metal.

Casio and G-Shock are noted for functionality and beauty combined. Per the watchmaker, here are just a few of the watch features:

The new watch offers G-SHOCK’s three-way time sync for accurate time keeping.

This is made possible through Bluetooth® connectivity, GPS satellite signal reception and Multi-Band 6 technology, which are signature technical capabilities within G-SHOCK’s premium models.

The watch also features Tough Solar technology that provides self-charging capabilities.

Casio says the new MR-G (No. MRGG2000RJ-2A) will be available beginning in February at selected jewelers and the G-SHOCK Soho NYC store for $4,300.
