Alessi Partners with Delta

ATLANTA and CRUSINALLO, Italy – In 2017 Delta Air Lines’ Delta One and First Class cabins will get a taste of Italy. The company has partnered with Alessi to create Alessi logoa signature line of plates, glasses, flatware and service products.

This is the first time Alessi’s designs will appear in the air. Working with Delta’s service teams to design and test the serviceware, the pieces are meant to complement the recent cabin improvements, including full flat-bed seating with direct aisle access in Delta logoDelta One which feature Westin Heavenly Bedding, a TUMI-designed amenity kit and skin products from Malin + Goetz.

According to Paolo Cravedi, Alessi’s managing director of U.S.A. and Canada, the key to a memorable in-flight service and culinary experience starts with the very product the food is served on. “We are creating for Delta’s customers a bespoke and inspirational line of plates, glasses, flatware and service products that sets the tone for the delicious and thoughtful approach the airline has taken with their on-board food and beverage offerings,” he said.
