LAS VEGAS – Las Vegas Market announced that it will present a free non-profit retailer webinar, “Selling to Millennials,” on Oct. 24, 2017, from noon to 1pm (CST), as part of its ongoing collaboration with the Association for Healthcare Volunteer Resources Professionals (AHVRP), Museum Store Association (MSA) and Zoo & Aquarium Buyers Group (ZAG). The interactive webinar will address how to define Millennials, discuss how to position stores and tackle the tricky issue of how to source products that appeal to this misunderstood demographic.
“Las Vegas Market is committed to helping our 30+ association partners – before, during and after Market – to succeed in business. This webinar offers a unique opportunity to demystify Millennials, which are the next big demographic driving retail sales today,” said Dorothy Belshaw, president of Gift Leasing and Chief Marketing Officer for International Market Centers. “This free webinar will explain some key characteristics of this unique consumer sector, including how they use technology to make buying decisions, how they prefer a simple and unencumbered lifestyle, and how they respond when experience trumps product.”
The webinar is free and open to all AHVRP, MSA and ZAG members, as well as non-members. International Market Centers will give away one scholarship covering airfare and hotel to the Winter Las Vegas Market, scheduled for Jan. 28 to Feb. 1, 2018, to one webinar attendee. To register, visit: .
