Pantone Fall 2015 Colors Revealed

CARLSTADT, NJ-The Pantone Fashion Color Report 2015 has been revealed. It is the first time the colors cross over between men’s and women’s fashions.

“The Fall 2015 palette is rooted in multi-faceted, androgynous colors that can be worn to portray effortless sophistication across men’s and women’s fashion; it is the first time we are seeing a truly unisex color palette,” said Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute.

The top colors for men’s and women’s fashion are: Desert Sage, Stormy Weather, Oak Buff, Dried Herb, Marsala, Biscay Bay, Cadmium Orange, Cashmere Rose, Reflecting Pond and Amethyst Orchid.

The colors in the report are culled from the Pantone Fashion, Home + Interiors Color System. Each season Pantone surveys the designers of New York Fashion Week and beyond to learn about prominent collection colors, color inspiration and color philosophy.

This fall designers look to American history for their collections-from the 1920s to bohemian hippies and modernists of the 1960s and 1970s-to create collections that are easy to wear by both men and women.
