Sony made the announcement in a blog post that all of the titles in the beloved Jak and Daxter series will be available on the PlayStation Store for digital download starting Dec. 6th.
Jak and Daxter: The Precursor Legacy has been available for several months, but Jak II, Jak 3, and Jak X: Combat Racing will all be available for $14.99 individually or as a bundle for $39.99.
PlayStation reps have stated in the forums that they are working on releasing a bundle for those who have already purchased the first game in the series.
The PlayStation reps have also shared a little about how the game will look and feel. They did not replace any textures, so the graphics quality will be upscaled to 1080p, and frame rates will be improved where possible. Furthermore, Jak X: Combat Racing will not support online play.
PlayStation is also releasing a new dashboard theme to help sweeten those ‘member berries. The Legacy Theme, designed by Truant Pixel, will closely resemble the PlayStation 2 dashboard and will be available for $2.99.
