Spearhead Games Releases Teaser Trailer for Omensight

Montreal-based independent developer Spearhead Games, the creators behind 2016’s action-RPG Stories: The Path of Destinies, has released a teaser trailer for their upcoming game, Omensight.

In Omensight, players will take on the role of a Harbinger, a being who exists outside of time, summoned to a land known as Urralia to prevent its foreseen destruction. Players will have to recognize characters who may play a significant role in Urralia’s destruction and choose whether to fight alongside or against them. Players will also learn significant information by taking part in important events from various perspectives. When those events lead into battle, players will be able to use Harbinger’s sword-fighting skills, time-manipulating magic, and other abilities to defeat those who stand in the way of improving the future.

Additionally, Omensight will feature the voices of Patricia Summersett (The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild) and Julian Casey (We Happy Few), as well as the writing talent of Nadim Boukhira (Stories: The Path of Destinies), Genese Davis (The Holder’s Dominion), and Chris Avellone (Fallout: New Vegas, Torment: Tides of Numenera, Prey).

Omensight is confirmed for release on Steam sometime this year, but a more specific release date has not yet been announced. Attendees of PAX South 2018 will have the chance to play a brief demo of the game at the Omensight booth (#10458).

Detective Pikachu is arriving on the 3DS in North America and Europe on March 23rd, The Pokémon Company has announced today. Placed in the shoes of Tim Goodman, you partner up with a talking, coffee-guzzling Pikachu to investigate the disappearance of Tim’s father. The reveal trailer shows off Pikachu’s (surprisingly) gruff voice and offers a taste of the sleuthing action you can expect from the game.

Detective Pikachu was released exclusively in Japan in March 2016 and has since gained attention from fans and Hollywood alike. Last month, Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds was confirmed to play the role of Pikachu in a live-action film adaption, lending his voice and providing motion capture.

A Detective Pikachu amiibo has also been unveiled, with comparison shots showing a noticeable size difference to standard figures. When used with the game, the giant amiibo will unlock short hint videos to aid the investigation.

We’ll keep you updated with any further information on the game’s Western release.

Every time Wizards of the Coast releases a new Magic: The Gathering set, there is a huge appeal towards the most expensive cards due to their increasing value. Many Magic players buy cards just for the purpose of reselling them later at a higher price.

The newest Magic set, Rivals of Ixalan, has finally arrived, and if you want to know which Rares and Mythic Rares will have the highest value, then follow this guide. Of course, such a volatile market can change drastically from time to time, but the overall trend is already clear.

These 11 cards will definitely find their way into many competitive Standard and Modern decks, making them stay at or rise up to a good price.
