Fans make think they know all when it comes to the Riverdale cast members, but in a tell-all game of Truth or Dare the stars reveal shameful food-gobbling first dates and boyfriend-straddling first kisses.
During a photo shoot, which saw six of the CW thriller cast members dressed up in seventies garb, posing in a cozy living room, the gang happily sat down to take part in the silliest of dares and reveal eye-opening truths.
The close-knit cast grabbed their challenges in a video for Teen Vogue that called for the cast to imitate each other’s characters, speak like aliens, sing their thoughts and offer glimpses into their love lives.

First dance: Lili Reinhart’s dare was to pick a dance partner and she asked actor KJ Apa to reenact their first scene together slow dancing at the high school Homecoming party
The conversation, however, turned juicy when the wide-eyed Betty Cooper actress Lili Reinhart was dared was to ‘pick anyone from the group and dance with them’.
Although her costars Camila Mendes, Casey Cott, Madelaine Petsch and Ashleigh Murray were all available for a romantic dance, without missing a beat she called on the show’s heartthrob KJ Apa, who plays protagonist Archie.
The blonde star then stood up and encouraged her flame-haired partner to imitate their first scene dancing together at a high school Homecoming dance.
‘Reenact the pilot,’ she encouraged KJ.
‘We barely knew each other, we were so awkward,’ she said revealing that the on screen romance was in reality the left-footed waltz of two strangers.
Then she threw her arms around his neck and he grabbed her waist to reenact the scene – lines and all.
‘So now that I’m a River Vixen and you’re on the football team, I was thinking maybe we could be like a power couple?’ she asked looking seductively into his eyes.
KJ responded with his character’s timidness to her request and simply repeated her name to lightly let her down.
One of the following dares asked KJ to imitate one of his cast members. And he had the perfect person in mind.

Actor’s world! Redhead Madelaine Petsch performed an uncanny imitation of her peer Lili’s on screen character Betty Cooper and delivered one of her line’s from the TV show for a dare
He immediately asked for his phone to use as a prop and then placed his hand in a selfie position and began to pout his lips.
Immediately Madelaine clamored ‘It’s me! It’s me! I know it’s me!’
After hours spent together on set, the group proved they knew each other’s ins and outs pretty well.
The confession session continued when Ashleigh was asked to dish all on her first kiss.
She hilariously looked into the camera and warned her mom to stop watching while her friends taunted with a scandalous ‘ooooh!’
‘I was 16 and I had finally gotten my boyfriend at the time to ask me out a month before and he knew I never kissed anybody. And he leaned over to kiss me and I turtle shelled cause I wasn’t really sure if I was ready and he got super embarrassed,’ she revealed.
‘I made a decision. So I climbed over into the drivers seat, and straddled him and we made out for two hours,’ she said.
‘Sorry mama!’ she cheekily added.

‘Wow! She went for it!’ Lili cheered.
Then KJ was told to confess all on his worst date experience.
‘What was the most embarrassing thing you ever did while on a date?’ he read his challenge aloud.
‘Do you date?’ his friends jeered.
‘Every now and then I’ll go on a little date,’ he coolly answered.
‘I eat pretty fast. And I remember one of the first dates I went on I forgot to slow down and I finished my meal in like two minutes and she was like “oh…”‘ he revealed on his date mishap.
While the cast completed other impressive dares such as tweeting using just elbows, sitting on someone’s lap to share what they want for Christmas, and dishing their favorite TV shows, Casey, who plays Betty Coopers best friend Kevin Keller, revealed his favorite person on set.
‘Whats the one thing you would stand in line for?’ he was challenged.
‘I would wait in line to get an autograph or a hug from Cole Sprouse,’ he confessed.
Cole Sprouse, plays the character Bughead on the show and was absent from the Truth and Dare game.
But his on screen (and rumored off set) girlfriend Lili gave an amused face to Casey’s humorous fandom and responded saying, ‘That’s tragic.’
The show is set to return to Netflix for its second season October 11.
